AgroSensi® Project 2009, september 5
Onions drought & water stress tests:
1. Re-growth test after extraction of small onion plants. Roots washed with tap water. Plants remained on dry plate for 43 hours. Of those 43 hours, the plants were put in direct sunlight for 6 hours. the rest of the time indoors at about 23 degrees Celsius.
According to the farmer who donated the seeds, replanting of very small plants could not work at all.
June 15, extracted from the soil and washed
tap water 904 / 912
June 17, start drowning after 43 hours of complete drought
June 27
tap water 912
July 18, some cow manure added on July 12
water (nothing left) 904 / 912 (see next picture)
Plants left after drowning for over a month, using 904 / 912. Control group: all died.
43 hours of complete drought, followed by 32 days of 'flooding'
Conclusion:
Resistance to water and drought stress increased significantly. The difference between untreated tap water and AgroSensi 912 is more than obvious. Test completed.
